Lionel Messi's father and agent Jorge Messi has confirmed his son's desire to make a sensational return to Barcelona this summer.
The 35-year-old will leave Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season, becoming a free agent, and is of interest to his former club, as well as Saudi giants Al-Hilal who are said to have tabled a sizable offer to lure him.
His father, who is also his representative, has now stated that a return to Barcelona is Messi's priority.
What Jorge Messi said
Jorge was pictured meeting with the Blaugrana president Joan Laporta, and they were said to have discussed Messi's return to Barcelona.
Following the meeting, the Argentine was questioned, and he told the journalists that his son desired a return to Barcelona and that he also wants him to return to the club.
