Adesanya attacked Lagos, ladies, in a video that was uploaded on his official X account on Monday for having the propensity to flaunt their lives, which he said were supported by prostitution.

The former UFC middleweight champion encouraged these women to be less prideful and more approachable instead of being conceited, despite his criticism.

Speaking in Yoruba, Adesanya said, “Lagos women like to feel important and are proud. Most of you are runs girls. I now understand what a runs girl is—cheap prostitutes.

"You want to flaunt and show off. Nonsense. Just be nice, be friendly, say hello.”

Following Adesanya's statement, he has risen to the top of social media trends.

There have been mixed reactions to Adesanya claiming Most Lagos Women are Runs Girls.

There are some that back Adesanya's claim explaining that would be the case, especially on the Island.

However, the majority of the comments seem to dispute the claims by Adesanya questioning the evidence for such.

There were harsh questions being asked about his limited stay in the country and if his involvement with women compromised his performance against Du Plessis.

Some even went further by saying that despite his riches accumulated through his UFC career Adesanya is still finding it difficult with women.
