Boniface shines at home again
The Nigerian star grabbed his third brace of the season after Leverkusen defeated FC Hendeiheim 4-1 at home to extend their unbeaten streak.

Apart from his goals, Boniface completed the most dribbles (5) in the game, struck the post with a shot, won the most duels (8), and 100% of his tackles.
But it’s not just the skill on the pitch from the Nigerian and his fellow Die Werkself that has propelled Leverkusen to their brilliant start so far.
After the match against the newly promoted side, the newly capped Super Eagles forward opened up about his ambitions and the collective drive of Leverkusen to achieve success.
“We have a very good team,” Boniface stated according to a post on the club’s social media account. “I think the key is a mixture of our hunger for success, the joy of playing and above all, the willingness to work very hard. That's what makes us stand out!"
Bayern Leverkusen have a storied history in German football, with a strong tradition of nurturing young talents and playing attractive, attacking football.
The arrival of Boniface has added a new dimension to their attacking prowess and he has quickly become a fan favourite with how he has led the lines so far.
Boniface has scored six goals and assisted two more in just five matches in the Bundesliga since he arrived in the summer.
The Nigerian concluded by expressing his happiness with Leverkusen’s latest win.
