Former Olympics 800m champion Athing Mu will feature in her third race of the season this weekend but she will contest a longer distance yet again.
Former Olympics champion Athing Mu will be on the track again this weekend but fans who hoped to see her in her specialty of 800m will have to wait longer.
Mu has not raced in the 800m since her heartbreaking US Olympics trials in June 2024 and had not run since then until last month.
She started her 2025 season with the 5,000m race at the Mt SAC Relays, where she failed to finish on April 16, before winning the 1,500m at the Jesse Owens in California on May 11.
