Cricket Cranes bowler Cosmas Kyewuta is one of the lucky athletes to have bagged a career-changing training camp opportunity in South Africa.

Ugandan athletes often yearn for opportunities to fine-tune their talent at state-of-the-art facilities considering Uganda has lagged in that area.

Cricket Cranes bowler Cosmas Kyewuta is one of the lucky athletes to have bagged a career-changing training camp opportunity in South Africa.

While in the rainbow nation, the right-arm medium bowler will train at the Cricket South Africa National Academy from May to July with the CSA high-performance group, a development he describes as life-changing.

"I appreciate the opportunity given to me," Kyewuta told Pulse Sports from his base in South Africa.

"It's definitely what any other cricketer like me would hope for, so I am looking forward to polishing my cricketing skills both in bowling and batting," Kyewuta added.

The 21-year-old also adds that he is looking at working on a lot, specifically with bowling, for the period he will spend in South Africa between May and July.

"I will concentrate more on my action, release point and run-up. I will also work on my consistency in one-line improvement."

"My variation bowling in death overs, the slow bowls, reverse swing bounces and the quick bowls," he added.
