The result had KCCA leave the relegation zone for the first time in months as they continued their renaissance.

"It was about every player giving everything on the pitch, and we'll continue doing that until the situation stabilizes," Mubiru told the press after the game.

KCCA currently sit 13th on the 16-team table with ten points out of a possible 33.

"We feel the players can be better, but this is a good result; we can use that and probably forge a way forward," Mubiru added.

"It's a big win for us because every point, every win is important to us at this point in the league."

KCCA's only three victories have all come at home turf. They have suffered on enemy territory, yet they face a testing visit to SC Villa in their next game.

"We only have to keep working on the pitch, talk to the players about it (away form), and we'll pick it ."

"At the moment, we are just going to prepare, and I'm sure that by the time we face Villa, we shall be in a position to challenge them. We have some good time to prepare."
