The star defender could be on his way to one of Europe's top clubs after impressing during his Fulham spell

Fulham's defensive linchpin, Tosin Adarabioyo has attracted interest from top European clubs, with the likes of Chelsea and AC Milan reportedly monitoring the 26-year-old Nigerian-British defender.

After going through the wringer of lower-league football and graduating from Manchester City’s academy, Adarabioyo has made a home at Fulham but will be leaving the Cottagers at the end of the current season after his contract expires. With 116 appearances for Fulham under his belt, Adarabioyo has emerged as a stalwart in their defensive line, earning accolades for his consistent performances.

With Adarabioyo's contract scheduled to expire this summer, speculation about his future has increased. Despite the temptation of prospective moves to prestigious clubs, the defender is focused on finishing the season strong with Fulham.

Adarabioyo still eligible to play for Nigeria

Adarabioyo's international allegiance adds another layer of intrigue to his budding career. While he has represented England's youth teams in the past, he remains eligible to represent Nigeria through his parents.

Despite turning down a call-up from the Super Eagles in 2020, Adarabioyo has kept the door open to a potential future with the Nigerian national team, although the Fulham man will also be eyeing a place in Gareth Southgate’s England squad for the upcoming 2024 European Championship.
