"I'm the King, I'm already the king, you know that," Obua stamped in reaction to the impact his substitutions made after Calvary seemed a hard nut to crack.

"King David;" he is so often called, majorly for his exceptional career as a player with the Uganda Cranes, Hearts and Kaizer Chiefs.

Obua has maintained the moniker as a coach, despite his journey in the new field only being at the genesis.

After his side URA FC thrashed Calvary FC 4-1 in the Stanbic Uganda Cup on Wednesday, Obua reminded the world of the king he is.

"I'm the King, I'm already the king, you know that," Obua stamped in reaction to the impact his substitutions made after Calvary seemed a hard nut to crack.

With the game tied at 1-1 after Ibrahim Wammanah had levelled for URA, the tactician brought on Ibrahim Dada and Ivan Ahimbisibwe and the pair netted thrice in 14 minutes.

Dada scored two times, while Ahimbisibwe grabbed one goal and an assist to guide the team to the Round of 16.

"The fresh legs that we brought on killed the game for us. URA has many players, and whoever you call in, they'll do the job," Obua noted.

"We need players who are always available, always ready to come in and change the game."

It was URA's second Uganda Cup game in three days, having beaten Kumi United 2-0 on Sunday in the Round of 32.
