The Malawi National U20 national team has officially announced a 44-man provisional squad for the highly anticipated four-nation tournament scheduled to take place from March 18th to 26th, 2024, in Lilongwe.

Under the experienced guidance of Head Coach Bob Mpinganjira the selection showcases a blend of emerging talent and seasoned youngsters set to challenge the senior and U20 national teams from Zambia, Zimbabwe, and the Rising Stars.

Kicking off their preparations, the team commenced their training camp in Blantyre on Monday, with the players taking residence at CFK Lodge.

The diverse squad includes goalkeepers such as Masitano Mziza of Chikago FC and Julius Banda from Goalkeeper Ascent Academy, indicating a robust defense strategy for the upcoming matches.
