The 45th CAF Ordinary General Assembly will be held in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.

FUFA president Moses Magogo will seek re-election to the CAF executive committee for another term in Ivory Coast on July 13th.

The 45th CAF Ordinary General Assembly was originally scheduled to be held in Cotonou in Benin, but the host country passed on the opportunity with a month remaining.

CAF reportedly asked Kenya to host, but that was not possible, forcing the continental body to seek refuge in Ivory Coast.

“The 45th CAF Ordinary General Assembly will be held in Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire, on 13 July 2023,” CAF announced in a statement while requesting the media to apply for accreditation.

The confirmation has not been made official via the CAF channels but the organisation’s secretary general Veron Mosenga-Omba confirmed via his Twitter.

Among the issues to be handled are the elections of the different CAF executive committee seats that will fall vacant after the personalities served their term of four years.

They include the CECAFA representative, who is also the FUFA boss Moses Magogo.
