The Minister of Education and Sports and First Lady Janet Museveni had stressed that the Stadium would be available by November 30, but it now looks unlikely.

Speaking to Pulse Sports Uganda on Tuesday, Kayemba Solo was swift with his response: "Yes" as he affirmed the rumours that Namboole won't be complete by the stipulated dates.
The freshest updates of the Stadium indicate grass planting will commence in October.
The seats have also been purchased, pending installation in the stands by the contractors, the UPDF Engineering Brigade.
Namboole has been undertaking renovation for over two years, and numerous promises of timely completion have failed to come to pass.
Earlier in the year, State Minister for Sports Peter Ogwang, on his social media handles, asserted that the Stadium would be ready to host Algeria in the previous AFCON qualifiers, a thing that was never realised.
