UPL Obua feels URA has been the subject of unfair refereeing

"All I appeal to those in the league, those in charge of the game (the referees) is to let the best team win," Obua told the club media in the lead to their game against Vipers SC.

A number of contestable officiation decisions have been reported this season, with almost every team having their cherry of the bite.

And, URA FC head coach David Obua feels the questionable refereeing is far from human mistakes but rather deliberate decisions.

The most recent call against the Tax Collectors witnessed them concede an offside Denis Omedi goal as they suffered a 3-0 defeat to Kitara FC last time out.

"All I appeal to those in the league, those in charge of the game (the referees) is to let the best team win," Obua told the club media in the lead to their game against Vipers SC.

URA will battle the Venoms later on Saturday at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo floodlights.

"There are certain decisions that have been taken against us, and I have always said if something is made four or five times, its no longer a mistake but a decision," the tactician added.

"We are all fighting for the league, whether  Vipers, KCCA, Kitara or whoever. Let's have a fair match and let the best team win."

URA sit eighth on the 16-team table with 31 points in 21 games, while Vipers are fifth with 35 points in 19 outings.

The Tax Collectors suffered a 2-0 defeat in the first round, courtesy of goals from Abdu Lumala and Erik Kenzo Kambale.
