"We are bringing in a talented player who is fast, technically skilled and unpredictable with a wide range of feints and tricks," Horsens Technical Director Kristian Nielson said.

Uganda Cranes youthful attacker Rogers Mugisha has completed a move to Danish First Division outfit AC Horsens.

Mugisha has joined the Yellow Danger from Kenya Premier League giants Gor Mahia, where he spent over a year.

"AC Horsens has brought in another exciting player for the squad, and it is the 20-year-old winger Rogers Mugisha," the club revealed on their website before adding.

"Rogers Mugisha switches with immediate effect until the summer of 2026."

The 20-year-old has signed a two-and-a-half-year employment contract that will run at least until the summer of 2026.

Meanwhile, Mugisha has previously played for UPDF FC in the Uganda Premier League.

He debuted for the Uganda Cranes last year against Mali in an international friendly.

The fleet-footed versatile attacker has come through the ranks at the national team, previously featuring for U17 and U20 national teams.

In the 2023 U20 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt, Mugisha was selected in the team of the tournament.

He becomes Horsens' fourth acquisition in the January transfer window, having initially signed Julius Madsen, Manny Perez and Simon Becher.

"We are bringing in a talented player who is fast, technically skilled and unpredictable with a wide range of feints and tricks," Horsens Technical Director Kristian Nielson said.

"And there is no doubt about Mugisha's qualities, but of course, as a young player, he has to get used to the conditions in European football, and he must settle outside the pitch."
