Sevilla vs Roma: Sevilla to end Mourinho's record and other possible outcomes

The Europa League final is upon us within a few hours of the kickoff and we have made available some stats and outcomes for the final between Sevilla and Roma.

Sevilla has won the Europa League six times in history more than any other team. They're into the final again after eliminating Juventus in the semi-final. They defeated Roma in their previous meeting in this competition and are currently in good form going into this final.

Roma on the other hand have not won the Europa League and are hoping they can get their first taste of it. However, they won the Europa Conference League last season and they have taken that form into the Europa League and are now in the final. Although their recent form has not been good, we still expect them to give Sevilla a challenge.

Sevilla to lift the trophy

Sevilla have won this competition six times more than any club in Europe and are slight favourites to win it again. They defeated Roma in their last meeting in 2020 and will be looking to repeat that same feat again. They are currently doing averagely well in their games, winning five of their last ten games.

Roma are playing their third Europa League final but have not won any. Their Conference League win brought them to the Europa League and are now in the final making it a back-to-back final for Mouhrinho’s men. Roma’s recent form has dropped drastically with just two wins in their last ten games.

We have tipped Sevilla to lift the trophy at the end of the game based on their form, record in the competition and their stat.

Under 3.5 goals

Both teams have only met once and they played under 3.5 goals in that encounter. Sevilla has scored in eight of their last ten games and also played under 3.5 goals in nine of those ten games.

Roma on the other hand have been known this season for scoring few goals and games and mostly a defending team. They have scored in seven of their last ten games and have played this outcome in seven of those ten games.

We do not expect lots of goals in this game and we are predicting just a few goals, not more than three goals will be scored in this final.
