Just two minutes after coming on, with his first touch, Zaga broke the deadlock with a rather classy finish; well, Zaga and class are inseparable.

Ten minutes to full-time, Kitara FC, who were in the look for an opener, withdrew their main talisman Denis Omedi for Frank Zaga Tumwesigye against giants SC Villa in the Stanbic Uganda Cup in Masindi on Sunday.

Their faithful were equally bemused yet they had to continue to trust their youthful tactician Brian Ssenyondo.

Just two minutes after coming on, with his first touch, Zaga broke the deadlock with a rather classy finish; well, Zaga and class are inseparable.

That marked the first goal for the former Vipers SC midfielder, who only joined the Royals at the start of the campaign.

Thirty minutes before Zaga's cameo, Ssenyondo had introduced the experienced trio of Solomon Okwalinga, Brian Aheebwa and Paul Mucureezi for Muber, Najib Yiga and Living Kabon.

Not to say the outgoing three lack the expertise, but, Ssenyondo knew exactly what the incoming lot had in store - a lasting know-how and talent.

Indeed, with two minutes to the clock, Mucureezi pounced on a loose ball in the area, to round off what ended a comfortable victory for Kitara against the nine-time Uganda Cup winners.

It should also be noted that the ever-reliable Jude Semugabi missed out through injury, yet his void was far from felt.

New signing Lawrence Bukenya didn't even get a kick-in despite his undoubted potential, class and experience.

Meanwhile, Kitara joined fellow Uganda Premier League side BUL FC and Regional League outfit Pajule Lions in the quarterfinals of the Uganda Cup.
