As the Kasasiro Boys go in search of their first piece of silverware since 2019, KCCA has decided to break tradition in the appointment of their technical staff, looking outside rather than working with former players.

KCCA FC has set the stage for another exhilarating season by introducing their highly skilled and accomplished technical team.

As the Kasasiro Boys go in search of their first piece of silverware since 2019, KCCA has decided to break tradition in the appointment of their technical staff, looking outside rather than working with former players.

Only one member of the club’s new technical team is a former player at the club, despite the club previously preferring coaching roles to be assigned to their former players.

Leading the charge as Head Coach/Manager is the highly regarded Sergio Traguil, who brings a wealth of experience and a winning mentality to KCCA FC.

Traguil's impressive resume includes successful stints at various clubs, where he has showcased his tactical prowess and ability to develop young talent.

Assisting Traguil will be Luis Manuel Correira, whose tactical acumen and coaching expertise will undoubtedly contribute to the team's success.

A notable addition to the technical team is the return of Jackson Magera, who has been appointed as the first-team Coach for KCCA FC.

Magera, a familiar face to the club, previously served as the Assistant Coach for the first team and Head Coach for the Junior Team.

With his extensive coaching experience, including leading the U17 and U15 Uganda Men's National Football Teams, Magera will provide valuable insights and guidance to the players.

In an effort to enhance the team's physical conditioning, KCCA FC has introduced the role of Strength and Conditioning Coach, which will be overseen by Eduardo Lazaro Ramon Leiva, a Cuban specialist in the field.

Leiva's expertise in optimizing players' fitness levels will play a crucial role in keeping the squad in top form throughout the demanding season.

The technical team also features familiar faces who have been retained to maintain continuity within the club.

Oloya Moses will continue as the Goalkeepers Coach, ensuring that the shot-stoppers receive the necessary guidance and training to excel on the field.

Saka Mpiima has been confirmed as the Junior Team Head Coach, responsible for nurturing the club's young talents and preparing them for future challenges.

Other crucial members of the technical team include Ayobo Felix as the Club's Fitness Coach, Ivan Ssewanyana as the Club's Doctor, and Tusuubira Emmanuel as the Club's Physiotherapist.

Additionally, Bashir Kawoya has been appointed as the Club's Kits Man, while Betty Nantale will serve as the Kits Assistant, supporting Kawoya in this role.

The club also bid farewell to three valued members of the technical team: Jackson Mayanja, Nsaziro Sam Charles Ssenyange, and David Nassani Mutenza, who will be departing at the end of June 2023.
