The result puts Bologna level with Juventus on 68 points heading into the final day, with the third-placed side securing Champions League qualification for the first time under the 2010 winner with Inter

However, they may have to make do without the Argentine. 

What Motta said about Juventus rumours, Bologna stay

Motta is expected to leave for Juventus at the season’s culmination, underlined by reports pointing to a meeting between the Bianconeri and the Bologna boss. 

Juventus sacked Massimiliano Allegri for his behaviour after the club’s Coppa Italia success, and the former Inter midfielder is likely to replace the departed Italian.

“We had a great season, we created a wonderful group where everyone gives their contribution, ensuring the team can play this way and get these results. This is a day of great celebration for Bologna and we must enjoy it all together.”

Bologna will be assured of a higher Serie A finish than Juventus by matching the Old Lady’s result on the final day, even if they could slide to fourth if Atalanta with their games.
