Platinum Credit Heathens will be without some of their most experienced players in the second round of the Nile Special Sevens Series in Kitgum this weekend.

In the team released ahead of the action, there are three big names missing as the club looks to right the wrongs of last weekend.

The trio of Michael Wokorach, Aaron Ofoyrwoth and Lawrence Sebuliba is out of the action due to injuries picked up in the first circuit.

Wokorach injured his calf on Day One of the Stone City Sevens, while Ofoyrwoth pulled his hamstring in the semi-final clash with Kobs.

Sebuliba, meanwhile, left Jinja with an injured wrist to join the list of absentees.

Also out of the Kitgum Sevens are backs Nobert Okeny and Michael Amolo, out with sickness and work commitments, respectively.

The absence of the five players has left Heathens depleted and forced head coach Kevin Makmot to pick rookies for the assignment up North.

Scot Olwoch has been called into the team to offer experience.

Trevor Ochan, Jordan Bongomin, Joseph Oyet and Claude Otema are some of the players with a bit of experience playing at the top level.

Steven Kalem, Malcom Okello and Nicholas Kato are also part of the team tasked to do better than last weekend’s third-place finish.

Heathens dropped to the third-place playoff after falling 15-12 to Kobs following a last-gasp Faragi Odugo try in the semi-final.

After that, the Yellow Machine defeated Makerere Impis to finish third and end the circuit with 17 points in the bag.
