Maroons FC defender Olega Ceasor has left the club for former club Onduparaka FC.

The full-back joins Onduparaka FC on loan for the 2023/24 FUFA Big League season. Olega had a running contract with the Luzira-based side with two years left.

The deal was sealed on the Uganda Premier League deadline day, with Maroons and Onduparaka FC coming to terms to finalise the deal.

Olega extended his contract with Maroons in July 2022, extending his stay to 2024.

He has previously featured for Onduparaka FC and Paidha Black Angels before joining Maroons FC in 2019.

Onduparaka will open their promotion campaign away to Blacks Power at the Akii Bua Stadium in Lira City on September 24.

On the other hand, Maroons conjured a dominant 3-0 league win against Wakiso Giants in their season opener.

Mohammed Senfuma's side finished sixth on the log last season but majorly made the Luzira stadium a fortress, claiming points against top sides like URA FC, Vipers SC, SC Villa and KCCA FC.

They host SC Villa in their next match at the Luzira Stadium on September 24.
