Super Eagles forward Cyriel Dessers has rediscovered his scoring boots again at Scottish giants Rangers.

Forgotten Super Eagles striker Cyriel Dessers is looking to score goals for Rangers after their big win against Hibernian on Wednesday in the Premiership.

Dessers took to social media to react after netting in a 3-0 win for the Gers at the Easter Road to close the gap between them and leaders Celtic.

The 29-year-old journeyman appears to have rediscovered himself at Rangers following a brilliant start to life at the Ibrox.

After spending the last two years moving from Genk to Feyenoord and Italian side Cremonese, the Super Eagles forward joined the Scottish giants last summer and has already become a fan favourite.

His goal against Hibernian was his seventh of the season in 18 matches for Rangers in the Premiership, with two assists to his name.

Following the latest performance, Dessers believes the only way for him and the Gers is up now.

“The only way is up,” the former Feyenoord striker posted on his official social media account on X.com.

The performance against Hibernian was the latest from Dessers who also impressed for the Gers in the Europa League group stages.

He was involved in both goals for Rangers in the explosive five-goal clash against Real Betis back in December.

Nigeria-ignored Cyriel Dessers put on a man-of-the-match display to help Rangers see off Real Betis in the UEFA Europa League, UEL.

Dessers contributed two of the goals before Kamar Roofe netted the decisive winner to help the Gers an impressive 3-2 win that saw them finish top of their group.
