He scored England's sixth in the 70th minute off a Luca Fletcher pass before the pair combined for another seven minutes later.

Jesse Derry added two while Shim Mheula, Mikey Moore, Jack Fletcher and Chris Dunbar all scored as England sunk the Islands.

Mukasa has now scored five goals in as many matches for both the England U17 and U16 teams, pointing at a huge future success.

It should be noted that in the recent transfer window, Mukasa was signed by Pep Guardiola's Manchester City from Westham.

The youngster and England will take on Kosovo U17 and Croatia U17 on Monday and Thursday, respectively, in the next matches.

The top two in each of the 13 groups, plus the five third-placed teams with the best records against those who have qualified from their pool, will secure a spot in the elite round.

March’s elite round will then determine the 15 teams who will join hosts Cyprus at the UEFA U17 EURO finals.

Meanwhile, Divine Mukasa was born to a Ugandan father Sam Mukasa and an English mother, Laima Mukasa.
