And, while an official communication is yet to be outed by the club, reliable sources and reports have put the sacking to undesirable results and a dire relationship between Obua and the honchos.

Five months into his one-year employment contract at URA FC, head coach David Obua has reportedly been shown the exit door.

Multipe reports made rounds on Wednesday that the Tax Collectors had moved separate ways with the Uganda Cranes legend, after just 20 games on the touchline.

And, while an official communication is yet to be outed by the club, reliable sources and reports have put the sacking to undesirable results and a dire relationship between Obua and the honchos.

To this day, Obua has been in charge of 20 games across all competitions, and has accumulated just eight victories.

URA, under the former Kaizer Chiefs star, has lost a whooping eight times and managed four stalemates.

In the Uganda Premier League, under Obua, URA have won six times, drawn seven and lost four in 17 matches.

They sit ninth on the 16-team log with 31 points in 23 matches, and crashed out of the Stanbic Uganda Cup at the hands of KCCA FC weeks back.

On the other hand, journalist Shafik Kiyaga has reported that Obua and the club's top chiefs have endured a not-so-great relationship, and that they had "started to look at other options."

URA's next game is five days away on April 16 against title challengers NEC FC in the UPL, and it awaits to be seen whether the ex-Hearts attacker will grace the touchline.
