Young Africans billionaire investor Ghalib Said Mohamed (GSM) has promised more support for the club ahead of the new season.

He is the reason why Young Africans returned to their glory days; when he speaks, the Wanainchi listen.

Young Africans billionaire investor Ghalib Said Mohamed (GSM) has promised more support for the club ahead of the new season.

The Jangweni-based side defended their domestic treble for the second straight season under former coach Nabi Nasreddine, keeping arch-rivals Simba SC at bay.

Ghalib made the promise during his end-of-season message to all club fans in a video shared on the Young Africans' YouTube channel.

"Hello, my name is Ghalib Said Mohamed (GSM); I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Young Africans for winning the league and FA Cup and reaching the CAF Confederation Cup final," Ghalib said.

"This has been an immense success for our club since it was founded, and we started a contractual relationship in 2022," he added.

The conglomerate then promised to keep collaborating with the side in the coming season as he wished the team the best for the upcoming season.

"We shall keep collaborating for the club's best interests and the country at large; I wish you the best for the coming season to yield better results," Ghalib noted.

Tiimu ya Wanainchi recently named a new head coach, Argentine Miguel Angel Gimondi, who has coached several top African sides like Wydad Casablanca,

Esperance, Belouizdad, and Sundowns, to mention but a few.

Young Africans will now focus on reaching the CAF Champions League group stages for the first time since 1998.
