Kobs will welcome back Ian Munyani into the team ahead of the third round of the Nile Special Sevens Series.

The back has missed the first two circuits on the calendar but will be available for selection at Kings Park.

Having lost to Stanbic Black Pirates in the Stone City Sevens final to start the season, Kobs fell to Jinja Hippos in the Kitgum Sevens semi-final and ended up finishing third.

Kobs played the first circuit without Adrian Kasito and Joseph Aredo, but the duo came back into action in Kitgum.

With Munyani back in the squad, the Blue Army will fancy their chances of getting back to winning ways.

RUGBY Marvin Odongo: We are not untouchable

Having helped Pirates to the Nile Special Rugby Premier League title in his first season as head coach, Odongo will be looking to add the Sevens trophy as well as the Uganda Cup later this year.

The Legends outfit are now playing catch up and are eight points behind table leaders Pirates, with five circuits still to play in the season.

Pirates have collected the maximum points (44) from the first two circuits and are setting the pace early in the season.

Kobs (36), Heathens (32) and defending champions Jinja Hippos (31) are the teams fighting to stop Pirates from winning a third-straight circuit.
