Today, in the presence of Florence Nakiwala Kiyingi the Third FUFA Vice President, it has been agreed that Express matches that had been affected will be rescheduled.
The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has lifted the suspension on matches involving Express FC.
The decision followed a Friday meeting between the FUFA Executive Committee and the members of the Uganda Football Referees Association (UFRA) along with the FUFA Referees Standing Committee (FRSC) at FUFA House, Mengo.
"The FUFA Executive Committee has lifted the suspension on Express FC matches," a FUFA statement confirmed.
Express matches had been suspended after UFRA filed a complaint on the safety of referees on various playgrounds and stadia.

The UFRA stand came after suspected Express fans had beaten assistant referee Fahad Sekayuba after their one-all draw with UPDF FC about a fortnight back.

Vipers SC have confirmed playmaker Allan Okello returned to full training from injury this week and that he could feature against his former side, KCCA FC, on Friday at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.
Express was bound to play rivals SC Villa and Wakiso Giants FC in the last two match-weeks but will now be scheduled at later dates.

Referees under their body, the Uganda Football Referees Association (UFRA) vowed to officiate Express matches only when worthy action had been taken.
"If individuals or parties are found guilty, they will be sanctioned," the FUFA statement added.
"FUFA also agreed to foot the medical bills of referee Fahad Sekayuba."

This comes days after FUFA President Moses Magogo declared Express innocent, asserting that individuals would be handled in isolation.
