The Brazilian tactician feels the team has yet to play to their expected full potential and standards, thus demanding more going forward.

Despite comfortably dispatching off Arua Hill SC 2-0 in the Uganda Premier League, Vipers SC head coach Leo Neiva has expressed discontent with his side's overall performance.

Vipers had Livingstone Mulondo and Abubakar Lawal to thank for the win, but it was far from a vintage display from the hosts.

The Brazilian tactician feels the team has yet to play to their expected full potential and standards, thus demanding more going forward.

"It's a win at home, a good first half, but we need to improve the movement without the ball and the penetration," Neiva told the media following the victory.

"Because every team that's going to come here will play like that: sit back, fight for the second ball and then counterattack. That's why we need to improve the movement without the ball," he added in a tactical assessment.

"We also have to improve the penetration, break the lines better, the last pass and our finishing," Neiva stressed.

"You know, guys, I'm never satisfied because If I get satisfied with my players or myself, we cannot increase (improve)."

The victory took the defending champions to the summit with a maximum of six points in two matches, while Arua Hill descended to the bottom with no point.

As Vipers will be making a long trip to Western Uganda to take on Mbarara City FC in their next match, Arua Hill will be home to host BUL FC on October 1.
