"Thank you all to our family and friends for the continued support toward our missions," Kalungi took to X after the fundraiser.

The Henry Kalungi Foundation aims to provide coaching, training, education, and opportunities to promising young athletes.

He intends to see the athletes use their talents to develop and change their communities, foster economic prosperity and developmental transformation and aid in countrywide health.

For years, Kalungi and his foundation have given back to society, especially the underprivileged, with soccer boots, kits, a Christmas party, and various sporting activities.

Last year, over 750 children turned up at Buganda Road Primary School for the annual foundation activities that Kalungi and country director Aidah Nabunya led.

It should be remembered that Kalungi featured for a vast number of clubs in the United States, including Richmond Kickers, Carolina RailHawks, Charlotte Independence, Hampton Roads Piranhas and many more.
