Despite not being top of the English Premier League table, Manchester United have exceeded expectations this season with a stat proving they are the best team in the European five top leagues.
The Red Devils have already claimed a trophy this season to mark their improvements after lifting the Carabao Cup following a 2-0 win over Newcastle United in the final.
Erik ten Hag’s side is also still in the running of the FA Cup where face Brighton & Hove Albion in the semi-final and Sevilla in the last eight of the Europa League.
They however need a miracle in overturning a 19-point gap to Arsenal who currently sit at the summit of the Premier League log despite having two games in hand over their rivals.
United beat Fulham 3-1 in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup to claim their 33rd win of the season which means they have won the most games across the five top leagues in Europe.
The 33 wins are spread across 15 in the league, six in the Carabao Cup, four in the FA Cup and eight in the Europa League.
This means that United have more victories than Manchester City, Serie A leaders Napoli and Barcelona, the La Liga champions-elect.
City, Barcelona and Napoli follow United closely with 30 wins each while Real Madrid have 29 wins, Paris Saint-Germain trail the current UEFA Champions League holders as they have 28 wins.
According to United’s official portal, the most wins United have ever recorded in a season is 44 during the mammoth campaign of 2008/09, when we played 66 times across all competitions.
