Egyptian giants Al Ahly continued with their impressive form beating Esperance 1-0 to reach the final of this season’s CAF Champions League.

South African export Percy Tau once again proved his worth at the team, providing the assist to Husein El SHahat for the lone winner in the 22nd minute.

The Egyptians had surprised the Tunisians to win 3-0 in Tunis in the first leg over a week ago.

Al Ahly has now qualified for the fourth straight final and the sixth in the last seven seasons.

On Saturday, they’ll now play the winner between Denis Onyango’s Mamelodi Sundowns and defending champions Wydad Casablanca at the Loftus Versfield in Pretoria.

The two sides played to a goalless draw in Casablanca in the first leg.
