The troubles Arua Hill is facing range from governance, ownership, and contractual terms of players, among others.

Newly appointed Arua Hill SC Chief Executive Officer Brendah Nyamwiza is racing against time to have the club back on the second-round fixture list for the Uganda Premier League.

The Leopards have been put off the fixture for failing to honour the licensing requirements to operate in the topflight.

However, Nyamwiza has brought back a bit of relief to the Kongolo faithful, asserting that they will submit the necessary paperwork before the January 29 deadline.

""Most of the things are doable; I can confirm we have about 80%; we hope the URSB letter of transfer of ownership can come on time," Nyamwiza was quoted by Sports Nation.

The troubles Arua Hill is facing range from governance, ownership, and contractual terms of players, among others.

"Because I have the other things, including contracts of players and technical staff, declaration, youth team affiliate, etc."

Now-former Arua Hill owner Joel Jaffer Aita revealed that he had sold the club after enduring a spell of no returns.

While the real owners are unknown, Vipers SC head coach, who formerly worked at Arua Hill in the same role, declared ownership, along with club PRO Adams Lematia Otelul.

Arua Hill has since appointed Hassan Mugerwa Takoowa as their chairman and Nyamwiza as the CEO to oversee a revamp.

Headed into the second round, the club has collected just five points in 15 games, leaving them rock-bottom.

They have also lost a number of their key players, including skipper Gadafi Wahab, right-back Geriga Atendele, and goalkeeper Richard Anyama, among others.
