The hosts started the second half on the front foot, and KCCA found themselves down 3-0.
KCCA finished the game with ten men after defender Musitafa Mujuzi was sent off.
Young striker Abubakar Mayanja pulled one back late to keep KCCA’s qualification hopes alive.
With the defeat, KCCA will have to ride on their away goal and complete the job when the two sides meet for the return leg in seven days.

Team captain Julius Poloto, and defenders Peter Magambo and Philbert Obenchan are some of the players to have played for KCCA on the continent before, and their experience will come in handy.
