The Kasasiro Boys suffered a 3-1 defeat over a week back and will have to offer their best game when the two sides meet again on Saturday at the St. Mary's Stadium, Kitende.

CAF coaches' instructor and former KCCA FC player Mujib Kasule has backed the latter to turn their CAF Confederation Cup first-leg result against Libyan outfit Abu Salim.

The Kasasiro Boys suffered a 3-1 defeat over a week back and will have to offer their best game when the two sides meet again on Saturday at the St. Mary's Stadium, Kitende.

"I think KCCA can turn it around because I watched the first leg, and they were the better team," Kasule said in an exclusive interview with Pulse Sports Uganda.

"For bigger periods of the game, even before we conceded the first game, we were in charge, playing well, moving the ball well, created good chances but for a few mistakes."

A penalty and a red card to key centre-back Mustafa Mujuzi hard did KCCA.

"All the three goals we conceded were mistakes, and goals that are let in like that are easy to correct," Kasule added.

"The players that commit such mistakes know how to correct, and it's easy for the coaches to rectify that, other than when the team dominates you completely, then it's hard."

"The players, coaches and everyone in the team knows they were the better team, and that will drive them to turn things around."

A 2-0 victory will be enough to have KCCA sail to the group stages, but every goal from the visitors will make it a challenging business for the former.

"If they get the first goal, it will give them a lift and the drive for the second, and that will ease things for them."

Meanwhile, KCCA are enduring a tough run as they also suffered a 1-0 defeat in their Uganda Premier League opener against BUL FC last week.
