El Clasico fallout: A former Champions League winner pinpoints frustration as the key reason behind one Real Madrid star’s disappointing display in the derby defeat.

Former Barcelona and Liverpool attacker Luis Garcia has commented on the performance of a Real Madrid player in Sunday's El Clasico defeat

Los Blancos went into the final Clasico of the season four points behind their rivals, and needed to win or at least avoid losing to keep fading LaLiga hopes alive.

However, Los Blancos lost a 2-0 lead in the eventual defeat, leaving Carlo Ancelotti’s troops seven points adrift of the Blaugrana.

Garcia analyses Jude Bellingham’s performance

Commenting on the game on ESPN’s coverage, Garcia explained why Jude Bellingham’s influence was below par, citing the Englishman’s frustration.

“You can see that he’s frustrated,” said Garcia. “You can see by his runs, by his movement, by his body language.

“He’s looking around and saying ‘I’m running, I’m tackling, I’m fighting’… he had a couple of fights with Pedri and it’s not the first time.”
