Man City boss Pep Guardiola has given some of his coaching staff his winning bonus after an impressive season.

The Spanish tactician recently won the Champions League for Man City for the first time and also won a treble, matching United’s record.

Guardiola has now gifted his coaching staff all his winning bonuses after helping achieve a big feat last season.

The precise sum was not specified but Guardiola's bonus will probably be close to the same amount as that of some of the club's senior stars.

Guardiola donates his bonus

Guardiola has offered a donation to a sizable number of employees since he has consistently emphasised the significance of the complete team in City's recent victories.

Although the donation's quantity was not disclosed, several of the club's key players have bonuses of up to £750,000 (₦370,500,000) incorporated into their contracts.

According to Daily Mail, the receptionists and security personnel who are thought to have contributed to this season's extraordinary success, which culminated in capturing the Treble by defeating Inter in Saturday's Champions League final, are reportedly among them.

Guardiola planning ahead of next season

The 52-year-old has started preparing ahead of next season with his team currently looking to bring in new signings.

Josko Gvardiol, a defender for RB Leipzig, is a top priority, while Mateo Kovacic, a teammate from Croatia, is hoping to sign with Chelsea.

City are also on the verge of losing some of their players with the likes of captain Ilkay Gundogan not yet deciding his future and having a new contract on the table. Barcelona are looking to sign him on a free transfer if he decides to leave.
