The tactician's side fielded Elvis Rupia and even subbed on Derrick Otanga but none of the two could take their chances as Talanta held the Law Enforcers to a 0-0 draw.

Kenya Police FC head coach Francis Baraza has slammed his side for failing to take their chances during their 0-0 draw against FC Talanta in an FKF Premier League match played at the Nyayo National Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Baraza criticized the indecisiveness of his attackers, especially in the first half, with right-back Baraka Badi and Duke Abuya missing some clear-cut chances.

“We have a lot to do, especially in our striking force,” he said, “ We are lacking consistency. This line up I played today is the same one that played on Wednesday (In our 2-0 win over Bidco),” said Baraza.

“I will try to work on that in training, but I am happy with the impact of my substitute players who tried to create something( Alfred Mang’eni and Derrick Otanga) but the goals did not come.”

Baraza was quick to praise FC Talanta for putting up a spirited defensive display that prevented Police from finding the back of the net.

“It is like they are our bogey team because our results against them always seem to be disappointing,” he added.

“ It was a game of chances because we created a lot in the first half but did not take them and I  must praise Talanta. They were disciplined and made it hard for us to score.”

The result now means the Law Enforcers have amassed 50 points after 28 matches played, 12 points adrift of league leaders, Gor Mahia with six matches left to play.
