All three Harambee Stars players could only watch from the sidelines as their clubs were held to draws in Swedish Cup action.

Harambee Stars’ Swedish-based trio of Collins Sichenje, Timothy Ouma, and trialist Stanley Wilson played no part in their respective club’s stalemates in the Swedish Cup on Sunday evening.

Ouma, 20, remained an unused substitute during Elfsborg's 2-2 draw with Degerfors, making it the third consecutive competitive game he has made the bench but failed to feature.

Abdelkarim Mammar opened the scoring for the visitors in the 15th minute, but Elfsborg turned the score around thanks to a brace by Simon Hedlund in the 64th and 66th minute.

Although Degerfors were reduced to 10 men when Benardo Morgado was dismissed in the 54th minute, they plugged away before equalising through Adi Fisic in the 90th minute.

Elfsborg are second on four points in Group B.

In the other league clash played on Sunday, AIK were held to a 1-1 draw by Kalmar FF.

Rui Modesto scored for AIK before Jacob Bennedsten Tenskow equalised for the hosts to leave them sharing the spoils.

AIK remains top of Group F.

Sichenje’s future at the club appears uncertain, with reports suggesting that the team is considering loaning him out before the closure of the transfer window.

As for Stanley Wilson, he will be joining the club when he turns 18 later this year. The promising Kenya U18 midfielder's progress is closely monitored.
