Leeds have announced the sacking Jesse Marsch following a string of bad results.
Leeds United announce that they have parted ways with their manager, Jesse Marsch.
The 49-year-old American took over as manager of Leeds United in late February 2022. Following a string of poor results, he has now been fired after less than a year in charge.

Following multiple reports claiming Leeds had fired the American manager, Leeds put out a post to that effect, confirming that they had relieved Jesse Marsch of his duties.

The sacking comes after a 1-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest over the weekend, extending their poor league record to seven games without a win, with four losses and a draw, and condemning them to 17th on the League table, just outside the relegation places on goal difference.
"We would like to thank Jesse and his backroom staff for their efforts and wish them well for the future," said the club.
"The process of appointing a new head coach is underway, and we will continue to keep supporters up to date throughout the coming days."
Rene Maric, Cameron Toshack, and Pierre Barrieu, who are members of Marsch’s coaching staff, have also been fired, per the BBC.
Marsch took charge of the Peacocks after Marcelo Bielsa left the role last season, and he managed to help Leeds stave off relegation. He oversaw 32 games for Leeds, and only managed a 25 per cent win rate.
Possible replacements
As the club stated, Marsh’s possible replacements are currently being evaluated. However, contrary to some reports, transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano says former manager Marcelo Bielsa is not being considered for the role.
He reports that the Argentine returning to the club is described as unlikely, as the club are looking to go a different route.
