The Super Eagles squad has been ranked number 10 in the world for squad value and number one in Africa.

The Nigerian national team is replete with young attacking talents, and this has seen a rise in its squad value.

The Super Eagles now rank tenth globally for the most valuable national team squads in the world and are the highest placed on the African continent.

What happened

In the last few years, Nigeria has seen a meteoric rise in the quality and volume of attackers produced, with the likes of Victor Osimhen, Victor Boniface and Terem Moffi heading that list.

Strikers are at a premium in world football, and this means Nigeria has a collection of some of the most highly valued attacking talents in the sport.

It is such that only nine other national teams in the world can lay claim to having squads that command a higher value than the Super Eagles, none of which are African.
