Kenyan giants Gor Mahia has officially welcomed the immensely talented Ugandan forward, Rogers Mugisha, into their fold, Pulse Sports understands.

Completing his move from Uganda Premier League's UPDF FC, Mugisha's addition is expected to bolster the attacking prowess of the Johnathan McKinstry-coached side.

The player’s unveiling at K’Ogalo is expected to happen soon, but several media outlets in Kenya have confirmed the news of Mugisha’s signing.

This acquisition comes after a bevy of clubs, both local and international, set their sights on this prodigious talent, with notable mentions like KCCA FC.

Mugisha, a forward known for his dazzling speed, exceptional dribbling skills, and astute game-reading capabilities, has garnered attention not just for his club exploits but also on the international stage.

He played a starring role for the Uganda Hippos at the U20 AFCON tournament in Egypt.

Notably, his standout performance against the Central African Republic earned him the man of the match title.

Furthermore, he received recognition by being named in the Best XI of the group stages.

This young dynamo isn't new to the limelight, having previously shone brightly for Uganda in the U17 AFCON tournament in 2018, held in Tanzania.

His footballing journey has been an exciting trajectory, starting with his stint at the Youth Team of Mbarara City from 2018 to 2020, subsequently progressing to the national youth teams starting with the U17 between 2018 – 2019.
