The American tactician has been Nigeria’s coach since October 2022 but has not been paid for over a year.
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is yet to pay Super Falcons coach Randy Waldrum for over a year.
Waldrum was appointed as Nigeria’s coach in October 2020, replacing Swedish tactician Thomas Dennerby.
NFF owing Waldrum and Peseiro
However, since his appointment, Waldrum has only received two months of pay from the NFF and has not been paid since last year.
According to BBC Osasu Obayiuwana, the NFF is owing Waldrum 14 months of unpaid wages, meaning he has not been paid since February 2022.
The situation is the same with Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro, who is being owed a backlog of salaries by the NFF.
However, despite the disappointing situation, both managers are still carrying on with their job on a day-to-day basis.

Peseiro recently oversaw Nigeria’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers doubleheader against Guinea-Bissau while Waldrum is busy preparing the Super Falcons for the FIFA Women’s World Cup this summer.

The nine-time African champions are set to play against Haiti and World Cup co-hosts New Zealand in an international friendly this month.
The Super Falcons will play World Cup debutants Haiti on April 7 before taking on World Cup co-host New Zealand four days later, with both matches taking place in Turkey at the Mardan Sports Complex.

Barcelona's Alexia Putellas and England's coach Sarina Wiegman were named the Women's player and coach of the year.
Waldrum is already in Turkey ahead of the two matches, with the players set to arrive today.
The American has called up 23 players for the two international friendlies.
Super Falcons list for Haiti and New Zealand
Barcelona’s Asisat Oshoala and Atletico Madrid’s Rasheedat Ajibade are the biggest names on the list, while Desire Oparanozie makes a return to the Falcons setup. Francisca Ordega was a notable absentee.
