By winning the 2023 AFCON U17 championship, Senegal has now won every CAF competition between 2021 and 2023.

Senegal has cemented its name as an African football conqueror with another continental triumph.

By winning the 2023 AFCON U17 championship, Senegal has now won every male CAF competition between 2021 and 2023.

Their success started in Cameroon in 2022 when the Lions of Teranga beat Africa’s most decorated nation, Egypt, 4-2 in penalties following a goalless draw after extra time to win the Africa Cup of Nations.
