Right wingback Joseph Dhata extended his excellent form this season, guiding NEC FC past a resilient Busoga United in the Stanbic Uganda Cup Round of 16 tie at the Kakindu Stadium on Tuesday.
The former Vipers player struck with a thunderous drive after latching on a loose ball from Busoga defender Isaac Isinde, to send the Diehards into the quarterfinals.

The strike also made it nine goals in all competitions this season for Dhata, having scored five in the Uganda Premier League.
