The Red Devils are confident they can convince the Hammers' skipper to sign
Manchester United are reportedly hopeful of beating Arsenal to the signature of West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice.
The Red Devils hope to rope in the English international – who is valued at around £150 million by West Ham - in the summer transfer window.
Having declared his desire to play in the Champions League, Rice is widely expected to leave the Hammers, with his current deal running until 2024.
Elsewhere, Chelsea are considering bringing Tammy Abraham back to Stamford Bridge.
The 25-year-old AS Roma forward is considered by the Blues as a cheap option to Napoli and Nigeria’s star Victor Osimhen.
Abraham has scored seven goals and provided five assists in 32 games for the Serie A side this season.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea forward Raheem Sterling.
In anticipation of Champions League football next season, the Gunners are understood to have laid out plans to bolster the squad with experienced players.
However, Sterling has not indicated that he would like to leave Stamford Bridge.
Manchester City are considering extending Julian Alvarez’s contract by one year to 2028 amid interest from other clubs.
Barcelona are one of the interested clubs, and the La Liga heavyweights are assessing whether the Argentinian could leave Etihad on loan this summer.
Meanwhile, Mohamed Salah’s agent, Ramy Abbas, has dismissed reports that the Egyptian could leave Liverpool in the summer.
Salah has already scored 19 goals for the Reds, who are having a poor run in the Premier League.
