Fernandez, a long-term target for Real Madrid, will not be sold by Chelsea, as per the report.
The midfielder joined the London club from Benfica in February 2023 for a £110m, and it is considered highly improbable that Los Blancos would be able to meet the Blues’ valuation for the World Cup winner, who is contracted to the club until the summer of 2031.
Caicedo is another player whose departure will not be entertained by Chelsea, despite reports linking him with a potential move to the Saudi Pro League.

The midfielder moved to Stamford Bridge from Brighton in the summer of 2023 in a deal also worth a £115m, and the London side view him as a key component of their group.
Caicedo has a long-term contract with Chelsea, extending until the summer of 2031 with the option of an additional year.
According to Sky Sports, Chelsea are still expected to be active in the transfer market this summer, even if the current focus is on securing Champions League qualification.
