"I love the fact that I'm back to (the) football world, out of prison of judgment," Lumala summed.

Former Vipers SC winger Abdu Lumala has termed his stay in the Ugandan football sphere the "worst decision ever" barely two months since he was released by the club.

After one-and-a-half seasons at Vipers, Lumala and the club agreed on parting ways.

His stint at Kitende was the first time he featured at a senior level in Uganda, having initially played in Europe and Egypt.

In a story posted on Snapchat with a flight image, Lumala has called up his time in Uganda where felt unfairly judged on multiple occasions.

"Honestly, my level had gone really down the day I decided to come play at home," Lumala posted.

"It was the worst decision ever. (The) thing is slow, and we don't learn football, but with Europeans, every day they demand from a player mostly if you are a foreigner."

"I love the fact that I'm back to (the) football world, out of prison of judgment," Lumala summed.

Lumala's spell with the Uganda Premier League champions was rued by multiple injury setbacks and fitness issues.

He, nonetheless, managed 20 league appearances, scoring thrice and assisting on five occasions, winning the UPL and Uganda Cup.
