This is the second loan move for Kayondo from Leganes, as the latter initially sent him to Israel's Hapoel Tel Aviv.

Uganda Cranes left-back Abdul Aziz Kayondo has been sent to another loan spell by his parent Spanish club outfit Club Deportivo Leganes.

The Segunda Division club has sent Kayondo, along with Malian player Issa Fomba, to Czech Republic outfit MFK Vyskov for a year.

The developments were confirmed by Vyskov, who said, "Left-back Aziz Kayondo and winger Issa Fomba are coming from Spanish (side) Leganes on a one-year loan."

"Both players should be valuable reinforcements that will help the club in the spring battles for the top of the Fortuna National League."

Kayondo's stint in Israel was meant to end in June 2024, but it was prematurely cut due to the unrest in the country and the region.

Kayondo has previously played for Vipers SC and Real Monarchs in the MLS Next Pro League.

Ironically, his move to Real Monarchs in 2022 was also a loan deal from MFK Vyskov.

Meanwhile, at his new home, Kayondo joins compatriots Fahad Bayo, Isaac Muleme and Musa Ramathan.
