The 26-year-old defender has settled well at Malawian Super League giants Nyasa Big Bullets.

Nyasa Big Bullets defender Clyde Senaji is a man on a mission to fight for his return to Kenya's national team, the Harambee Stars.

After being in the cold for more than two years, the former Tusker man is confident he will work hard at his new club for him to earn a call-up.

Senaji ditched the Brewers in January on mutual consent before securing a move to the Malawi Super League champions in March.

"It is every player's ambition to play for the national team. I have been there twice, and I really want to get back there, and I am working hard here and making a return," he said.

Senaji added that he is grateful to the Big Bullets family for helping him settle quickly at the club.

"Nyasa Big Bullets is a big team with good players, and I've settled in quite well. The guys have welcomed me, and I'm just happy to be here."

Senaji hit the ground running after signing for the side and has so far made three appearances in four league matches the team has so far played this season.

On Saturday, the 26-year-old lasted the entire Big Bullets' clash against Moyale Barracks in a match that they won  3-1 and moved to the top of the table.

Another Kenyan, Collins Okumu, also started the match where Lanjesi Nkhoma, Hassan Kajoke and Anthony Mfune scored for the team.

Bullets will next travel to Chiwembe for the fifth league fixture to face Bangwe All Stars at Mpira Stadium in the coming weekend.
