Traguil has taken it up on his team for failing to get upbeat to the task, as they underestimated the Tax Collectors.

KCCA FC head coach Sergio Daniel Moniz Traguil suffered his first ever defeat at the club in his second match since taking charge about three months back.

Bogey side URA FC edged them 2-1 in the FUFA Super 8 semi-final on Friday at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo, to miss out on a chance to claim their first glory this season.

"I know it's not easy against any team in the league, so we had to change a bit of our attitude today," a disappointed Traguil told FUFA TV in the game's immediate aftermath.

"We came into the game thinking so much that we had won, and that's the mistake we made," the Portuguese added in his honest assessment.

While the team dominated the ball for more significant spells of the game, the tactician felt there needed to be more in their play.

"To be honest, we were poor, we were poor in the decisions, especially in the second half when we gave them the confidence to play and score."

"We allowed them two (players) against one situation, too much space in the midfield and the defence was not strong or reactive enough when we lost the ball in the midfield."

"In my honest opinion, it was inferior," Traguil summed up the evening's display.

KCCA will now face Uganda Premier League record holders SC Villa in pursuit of a third-place finish as they gear up for the forthcoming season.

Meanwhile, URA will fancy their chances for the first trophy this campaign against BUL FC in the final.
