KCCA urgently needs points as they currently sit second from the bottom with four points out of a possible 21, but will now have to do without some of their best players.

Seven key players are set to sit out KCCA FC's Uganda Premier League meeting against Busoga United later today at FUFA Technical Center, Njeru.

Joint-league topscorer (four goals) Muhammad Shaban will not feature for the Kasasiro Boys against the Jinja-based team after accumulating three yellow cards.

It will be a big blow for them, as he has netted over 50% of their seven league goals this season.

His natural backup, Abubakar Mayanja, will also be absent due to his engagements with the national U18 team preparing for the CECAFA U18 Championships.

The other forward set to sit out the game is new signing Emmanuel Peter Loki, while skipper and attacker Julius Poloto still has a nagging injury.

Angolan defender Emilson Gonzaga is also out of the tie, leaving Mustafa Mujuzi as the only senior defender available.
