Thirteen-time Uganda Premier League champions KCCA FC are set to move separate ways with head coach Sergio Daniel Moniz Traguil.

Moments after SportsNation broke the news of a pending contract termination, Pulse Sports has also learnt that the KCCA FC board, which sat on Saturday, indeed wants Traguil out.

It has been reported that six of the nine board members that convened agreed that he departs the club.

The decision was left in the hands of the CEO, Anisha Muhoozi, for implementation.

A compensation plan for Traguil is the biggest hindrance to the decision's swiftness.

Assistant head coach Jackson Magera is set to take over in the interim, but the permanent replacement needs to be clarified.

It should be noted that Traguil only signed as KCCA head coach in June on a two-year employment contract but is now set to leave after just five months.

The club has suffered their worst start to the Uganda Premier League, losing their season's opening games.

They were beaten by BUL FC (1-0), Maroons FC (2-1), and Express FC (2-1) before their 3-1 defeat to Kitara FC last Friday.

It has been reported that Traguil lost his dressing room, having fallen out with several senior figures.
